Harvest Port wines are Tawnies of high quality from a single harvest, indicating a year, considered of exceptional quality. Its aging or stage occurs in wooden casks for a variable period yet never less than seven years. Their colour evolves over time and goes from auburn to red auburn, even with greenish reflections perceptible in very old wines. It is during the cask aging that its aromas also evolve, from young, fruity and fresh wines for a bouquet where protrude notes of dried fruit, roasting, wood and spices. The softness, harmony and complexity of the bouquet becomes increasingly large.
