Is in aging in barrels, that whiskey acquires 60% of its flavor, being a decisive factor for its quality. Its alcohol grade varies between 38 and 54%. The first major production of whiskey dates back to Scotland, around 1494, where their mass distribution has medicinal purposes through an antidote for sadness. Only later Whisky was assumed as a drink to toast, celebrate or as social confraternization.
