"Ginginha", is a traditional Portuguese liquor that can be drunk in Lisbon and other places like Óbidos and Alcobaça. Made from alcohol and obtained from the maceration of the cherry fruit, a fruit very similar to cherry, both in appearance and in taste, and which uses only natural products, without any artificial preservatives in its production. This liqueur is a mixture of sweet and bitter with a touch of cinnamon. Due to its sweetness, it becomes very easy to drink. Usually served in small glasses, called shot, it should be drunk at once. You have the option of tasting it with (with them) or without (without them) Ginja in the glass.
It goes well with cakes and pastry and can be drunk after meals or as an apetizer. It is the fruit liqueur of Portugal!
