A great top of the range Famous Grouse, a really enjoyable 30 year old blended malt.
Very complex nose with notes of malt, banana, fig, orange and white grape. Aroma moves to the palate that has notes of honey and spices. Light with very good texture in excellent harmony. Very long finish.
Nose: Thick. Rum, toffee. Dried peels sherry, nutty spice.
Palate: Good sweetness, Muscovado sugar, rum, figs. Fruitcake.
Finish: Fruity, gentle spice, medium long.
