Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked and vinified in stainless steel vats of 5 and 10 tons of capacity. The must ferments for about a week at 23º - 25º C, with programmed automatic pumping over.
Grape Varieties
Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Sousão and Old Vineyards.
Aging
About 45% of the wine is aged for 16 months in 225 liter French oak barrels; the remaining wine ages during the same period in stainless steel vats.
